Photographing dance has been a passion of mine for many years, it has also helped having a partner that is a dancer. Wim has had a full career as a principle dancer with the Dutch National Ballet for many years before turning his hand to teaching. From here, he became the director of the Conservatorium of Dance in Den Haag and the Artistic Director of the Prix de Lausanne, which is a very prestigious dance competition in Switzerland. Through Wim this has developed my love of the dance and photographing movement.
Since moving to Australia in 2012 I have continued to photograph dance and movement by filming for the Prix de Lausanne at the Queensland Ballet and taking photos videos for students for their folio to send to companies.
